Re: 'Payet injury could bury West Ham'
The only way this can be beneficial, is that Payet fully recovers and can smash the last third of the season with no fatigue. And as as team, though I would have preferred not to have the test, we simply have to find a good way of playing without Payet. The other players will have to step up, and this could be the real making of the team. Get themselves roaring along and the have the luxury problem of finding a spot for Dimi when he's back.

That, my firends, is what we have to pray/hope/dream for. My worst fears involve a Faubert/Ashton/Collison outcome, which is too painful to think about.

I may be in DE NILE, but why does he think Moses is a BASKET CASE?

Re: 'Payet injury could bury West Ham'
"In particular, I think an extended injury absence for Payet would be devastating to Victor Moses and to a lesser extent, Aaron Cresswell. Moses, who can play on either flank, is startlingly dependent on Payet. Think of Payet as your friend who has their life together and that makes Moses their basket case significant other. While they are together the basket case can carve out a functional, even productive existence. Once they lose your stable friend, you know they will descend into a purposeless life. That’s what will happen to Moses without Payet."

That is, without doubt, one of the biggest piles of steaming shite I have ever read related to football.

Rucker, you are a cunt.

Re: 'Payet injury could bury West Ham'
Just a thought and trying to put a cheerful spin on it.

Would Payet be so effective come those harder wet and colder months? Might be better with a more robust player like the Moose.

Re: 'Payet injury could bury West Ham'
He was going to need a rest and this was on the cards.
McCarthy does it to one of our players every time.
A tackle from behind is a foul. So many players don't know this rule. They are the one's that always complain that they got the ball. Stupid thick footballers who I played with did the same all the time.

We now need for Song to come good, the other players like Moses and Zarate will have to perform to a higher level. Antonio will get some game time now for sure. Let's hope he isn't to pissed off with not playing so far.

Come the harder winter months we were going to play slightly different.
In our first game against Arsenal, we had 3 defensive midfielders. Noble,Oxford and Kouyate. Substiute Song for Oxford and that can be our midfield. Up front we had Payet,Zarate and Sakho. Substitute Lanzini for Payet and that can be our attack. Lanzini has been the better player of late.

We probably wont see either Payet or Valencia now until February. Other players need to step up, that's what a squad is for.

Re: 'Payet injury could bury West Ham'
It's a fucking massive blow - but this is the strongest squad of midfielders I have EVER seen at our place...

We can cope - playing a slightly alternative way...

OBIANG, who looks classy to me, may get a chance as a holding-midfielder and, of course, SONG should be available soon...

Song is Champions League quality - when he's up for it...

We're just going to have to find a way to cope...

These ARSEWIPING shitcunt, irritating fucking injuries constantly seem to happen to us though... Fucking annoying...
